There are even not hardly any of those minor, little quibbles in Raiders of the Lost Ark as to that it is almost flawless. Truthfully, I can't really find anything that's all that wrong about it. Raiders of the Lost Ark is a movie that echos back all the way to the Golden Age of Hollywood, from the 30s to the 50s. It combines all the right ingredients that make a great movie great: there's definitely enough action which usually follows some decent suspense, the comedy is actually funny, the usually typical romantic subplot is actually believable, the drama builds up to each successive action sequence, the production value is incredible, the direction is focused, the acting is enthusiastic and the musical score is insanely memorable. Raiders of the Lost Ark is a treasure, and the best that movie entertainment always has been and will ever get to be. A
