Classic westerns don't get any better than the Good, the Bad and the Ugly, the best of the Dollars trilogy that form a part of the series of Spaghetti westerns. Complete with action, comedy, drama, and that highly memorable music, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly is a timeless adventure that may not define the western in its entirety, but sure does deliver all the goods that the genre has to offer. As far as filmmaking goes, this is an achievement in effectively turning the western into an epic. And yet, sliding the Good, the Bad and the Ugly into a position in a list of the greatest movies ever made, I find will undoubtedly be arguable for many, even though I find it absolutely necessary to do so. In that case, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly is an accomplishment on every level, and that's what defines it into becoming one of the most sterling and sublime movies ever crafted.
