Finding Nemo (2003, G)

Directed by: Andrew Stanton

Grade: A

It might come as a surprise that Finding Nemo has made it to my Significant Films list, but in my opinion, which I dearly hope is logical, Finding Nemo is exceptional entertainment.  It's visually gorgeous, very memorable, and a delight to watch.  Let's start with the animation, which like the actual movie itself, is exceptional.  Hands down, as far as computer generated imagery or just regular film animating goes, the animation featured on Finding Nemo goes way and beyond expectations, reigning supreme in never ending glory.  Kudos goes to Pixar for that, in my opinion one of the best film production companies working in Hollywood today.  Most of Pixar's film are treasures; they all combine sovereign animation quality with humorously funny stories that have strong moral value to them.  They're also, in short, movies that adults can enjoy just as much as kids At first glance, they're movies made for kids  In the collection of Pixar's jewels, Finding Nemo represents the peak supremacy of Pixar's reign.  Finding Nemo is a delightful, visually stunning experience where the movie engages the audience and captivates them during it's running time.  At least as far as animated films go, Finding Nemo is masterful.
